FAQs

What if my dog eats more than they should?
Generally, side effects are minimal, even if your dog eats the whole bag or bottle. If they do eat more than recommended they may be sleepy and/or have soft stools. If your dog experiences any side effects or eats more than they should, we always recommend call your veterinarian.
How often should my dog take the soft gels?
Based on our research on how dogs metabolize our product, twice a day dosing is needed for the best effective. Spacing the dosing about 8-12 hours apart is ideal, and taking with food can improve absorption.
What is the strength / potency of your soft gel oil?
Our Small Dog Soft Gels have 3.8mg of cannabinoids each, Medium Dog Soft Gels have 11.3mg of cannabinoids each, Large Dog Soft Gels have 28mg of cannabinoids each, and Extra Large Dog Soft Gels have 37.5mg of cannabinoids each. Approximately 90% of those cannabinoids are CBD + CBDA and the rest are smaller but important cannabinoids. There is a full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes present in the Soft Gels oil content.
How should I store my soft gels?
ElleVet CBD + CBDA soft gel capsules do not need to be refrigerated and should be stored in a cool, dark place out of direct sunlight.

They contain the same complete spectrum CBD + CBDA oil that is in our chews and oils, and we make our soft gels in house, as we do for all of our products. This allows us to make sure you administer the exact same amount every time. Soft gels come in four sizes to make sure you can find the right amount for your pet. The Small Soft Gels have 3.8mg of cannabinoids per gel (471mg of cannabinoids per bottle; 124 Soft Gels per bottle), Medium have 11.3mg of cannabinoids per gel (1,401mg of cannabinoids per bottle; 124 Soft Gels per bottle), Large have 28mg of cannabinoids per gel (1,736mg of cannabinoids per bottle, 62 Soft Gels per bottle), and the Extra Large have 37.5 mg of cannabinoids per gel (2,325mg of cannabinoids per bottle; 62 Soft Gels per bottle).
