Soft Gels are filled with our proprietary CBD + CBDA oil formulation and have no smell or taste, making them very easy to administer at mealtime.
 
The ElleVet Feline Oil contained in our Soft Gels is a remarkably effective product for cats, and we are proud to have conducted a long-term safety study to ensure that our product is safe for cats. We learned in our metabolic testing that cats require a higher amount of CBD + CBDA per kg than dogs, so while the oil in our feline Soft Gels is the same as the oil for dogs, the administration is specific for cats.
 
Each soft gel contains 11.3mg CBD + CBDA, and each bottle contains 124 gels.

FAQs

Are there different administration instructions for different issues with cats?
The recommended 2mg/kg twice daily administration is recommended for mobility, stress, and cognitive support in most cats. Some might require a higher amount but the majority of cats respond extremely well to this amount for multiple issues.  Call us if you would like to discuss your cat’s individual needs.
Can I switch from one product to another?
Yes, the active ingredient in the oil, paste, and soft gels is the same, so you can use the products interchangeably without issue. You can switch from one to another if you’re still finding the right fit, or you can use multiple products simultaneously, such as oil in the AM and paste in the PM.
What is the difference between dog and cat products?
All of ElleVet’s products contain the same safe and effective Complete Spectrum Proprietary Hemp Oil. The formulation of our Oil products for cats and dogs are identical, while our Feline Paste is formulated specifically for cats. Through our research, we have learned that cats need a slightly higher amount of CBD + CBDA per kg of body weight than dogs because they don’t absorb it quite as well as dogs. The administration tables on our Feline products reflect this higher amount to ensure cats get the support they need.
What is the strength / potency of your Soft Gels?
Our Feline Soft Gels have 11.3mg of cannabinoids each. Approximately 90% of those cannabinoids are CBD + CBDA and the rest are smaller but important cannabinoids. There is a complete spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes present in the Soft Gels oil content.
How do I get my cat to accept the soft gels?
Soft Gels are odorless and tasteless and can be easily integrated into your cat’s daily routine. Some cat parents administer the soft gels directly into the mouth, while others prefer to give them at mealtime or using an administration aid – you know your cat best!
Are your products safe for cats with food sensitivities or allergies?
The chicken and pork ingredients in our Feline Paste are partially hydrolyzed. As always, consult with your veterinarian regarding your cat’s specific health needs. If your cat has a food sensitivity, consider using our Feline Oil or Soft Gels which can be given at mealtime.
Do you have a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for your products?
