Every February, we celebrate Responsible Pet Owners Month. Actually, we celebrate responsible pet owners every day here at ElleVet. We know first-hand that while furry friends bring tons of love and happiness to our lives, they also bring a lot of responsibility.
No matter their size or species, pets require so much more than love and affection. It’s our job as pet parents to ensure our best friends’ needs are met—physical exercise, mental stimulation, high-quality diet, shelter and security, and caring for their health. It’s a round-the-clock job!
At ElleVet, we have so many furry members of our team—and some even join us at the office every day! Cheers to our own Very Important Pets and their responsible humans!
Baker
Nicknames: Biscuit, Bake
Favorite activities: Kneading (biscuit making!) and 3am zoomies
Fun fact: Baker was abandoned and his family trapped him while looking for another lost cat. He is obsessed with being carried like a baby and giving hugs around the neck!

Fun facts: She also loves babies and will howl a song for them.

Nickname: I go by Cassie.
Fun fact: I had to have 27 teeth extracted. But wow, I felt so much better afterwards! I don’t have many teeth left, but I’m still the most handsome boy.
ElleVet office role: Head of Security. No funny business under my watch. My brothers Theo and Ollie are usually the culprits of any and all shenanigans, so it’s my job to put them in their place.

Favorite toy: My favorite toy is my pet Llama. All my toys are called Llamas. If you visit, I’ll bring you a Llama.
What makes me special: I am The Regulator. All things must be in their place. My brother Jack is a constant annoyance at “not following protocol.” I’m very playful, love the snow, love the beach…I love life.
Pet Peeve: The vacuum, not a fan.

Favorite activity: Whatever punks do, I do. I’m VERY friendly until I don’t want to be. Nighttime is just a play period between breakfast and dinner.
What makes me special: I am a thief, a common burglar. I steal used goods for the thrill of it. I’ve traveled over fences with paintbrushes, paper cups, hand puppets, or anything I may need later. The corner where I live is called “Jack’s Corner.”

Favorite toy: Mia destroys “indestructible” stuffed animals, especially squeaky ones, within minutes of getting them, record time. Her toy bin is full of shredded stuffies, but she loves them no less. Mom and Dad don’t dare throw any away.
What makes me special: I love riding in the car, but I cry the entire trip every time, no matter where we’re going. And I would sell my soul for a tennis ball or my favorite meal, chicken, and rice.
