For today’s spotlight, we’re thrilled to highlight an adventurous senior dog named Esme, who at over 17-years-old, is still enjoying walks, zoomies, and cuddles with her favorite people.
“We got our Esme in 2008 from a rescue in Alabama when she was 12 weeks old.
We were originally told she was a husky-lab mix, but later discovered her breed was in fact a Mountain Atlas Dog, also known as an Addi – a herding breed unrecognized in America, from Africa!
As Esme aged, she began to slow down and required support for her mobility. She also had always experienced stress in social situations.
We tried other options for Esme, but they seemed to cause more damage than good…Her vet recommended we try ElleVet….WOW! It changed everything for our Esme and us!
