We recently sat down with the team at Harmony Animal Hospital to dig a little deeper into their practice and culture.
How long has your clinic been in business? How did your clinic get started?
Dr. Casandra Fowler founded the Harmony Animal Hospital in 2019. Her passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care led to the creation of a clinic rooted in trust, education, and a deep love for animals.
What makes your clinic special?
We’ve designed every detail with your pet’s comfort in mind. As a Fear Free Certified Practice, we go beyond medicine to create a calm, supportive environment.
What makes your team unique?
Every team member is Fear Free Certified. That means you’re never alone in advocating for your pet’s comfort— we’re all trained to recognize stress signals, use low-stress handling techniques, and provide a truly compassionate care experience.
What is the most unique animal that someone’s brought into your clinic?
The week we opened, a neighbor brought in an injured Barred Owl. We drove it to a local rehab, and he improved and was released.
Are there any interesting stories you’d like to share about your clinic?
We sent a team to Otavalo, Ecuador, to participate in a spay/neuter clinic for Dogs of Otavalo. It was an amazing trip being able to serve 337 local community cats and dogs in 3 days!
Do you have clinic dogs and/or cats? What are their names? Tell us about them!
We don’t have real clinic pets, but we do have an army of stuffed animal dogs who are always up to mischief! They’ve been known to prank staff, pop up in unexpected places, and occasionally “follow” us home.
If your clinic had a theme song, what would it be?
Our theme song would be “Salute” by Little Mix. It’s the perfect anthem for our all-girl team.
If you had to choose three words to describe your clinic, what would they be?
Cutting edge, Loving, Thorough.

Do you have a memorable story regarding a patient using ElleVet that you would like to share?
We had an older German Shepherd who was experiencing mobility challenges. ElleVet’s Soft Chews and laser therapy significantly improved his ability to get around and play.

We make it our mission to provide the best care possible for both our patients and their pet parents every day. Our six core values aren’t just something we talk about —we love them inside the hospital and out: compassion, community, impact communication, growth, integrity, and fun.
