We recently sat down with the Ehlers Animal Care team to learn more about their practice and the compassionate professionals that help make their clinic so special.
How long has your clinic been in business? How did your clinic get started?
Ehlers Animal Care was founded by Dr. Megan Ehlers 13 years ago.
What makes your clinic special?
Through the animals that people love, we desire to humbly serve and care for the people in our community. From the very first meeting until the final farewell, we seek to establish an encompassing relationship with a pet and its family based on complete understanding, individual care, and extraordinary compassion.
Each pet, each person, and each relationship is special to us.
What makes your team unique?
We are empathetic people working to serve each other, clients, and patients.
What is the most unique animal that someone’s brought into your clinic?
A Tree Kangaroo.
Are there any interesting stories you’d like to share about your clinic?
Three best friends took ownership of a poodle named Latte after their friend passed away. Latte developed cancer and underwent chemotherapy. Each of the best friends took turns caring for Latte, taking her in for chemo and caring for her needs. When the end came to cherish final memories, all three best friends came to say their final goodbye and wished Latte all the love visiting her beloved owner again.

Do you have a memorable story regarding a patient using ElleVet that you would like to share?
Recently we saw a 16-year-old Chihuahua named Cocoa who had been experiencing stress. Through all the options, the best product that helped her was ElleVet Calm & Comfort Chews. Cocoa is currently doing amazingly well with them. She is also very picky and not a pill-taker, but she likes the ElleVet chews!
