Marks, who typically recommends ElleVet for pain in pets, said hemp-based products should be used to supplement or modify pets’ treatment plans after other options have been exhausted. Like Van Pelt, Marks is worried about how unregulated CBD products may be affecting animals, noting that some could even be counterfeit.
