Taylorsville Veterinary Clinic is a mixed-practice animal hospital in Mount Airy, Maryland that provides exceptional care for companion animals, both large and small. How long has your clinic been in business? How did your clinic get started?
Taylorsville Veterinary Clinic opened over 30 years ago, as of October 2022 we are under new ownership and still privately owned. The clinic started as primarily a large animal practice and has grown to a 50/50 mixed practice.
What makes your clinic special?
We are a mixed practice with 10 doctors on staff. We have small animal doctors certified in ultrasound and very soon offering Acupuncture.
What makes your team unique?
Our wide range of knowledge, plus years of experience and skills provides the best variety to safely handle our busy schedule and variety of patients we see on a daily basis.
What is the most unique animal that someone’s brought into your clinic?
We get the occasional calf, lamb, or goat that comes in for extra help that couldn’t be provided on the farm.
Are there any interesting stories you’d like to share about your clinic?
Many employees get to see their pets at work on a daily basis. One of our staff members is very talented and the artwork around the clinic are paintings of our own animals large and small.
If your clinic had a theme song, what would it be?
We don’t have one song, but we are a clinic that loves music, and you can always find something playing and someone singing along or dancing to lighten the mood of a crazy day.
If you had to choose three words to describe your clinic, what would they be?
Caring, fun, and passionate.
Why do you use ElleVet for your patients?
ElleVet has made noticeable changes in many of our patients, especially our aging friends. The cognitive and joint care ElleVet provides is above the rest. Our favorite ElleVet product is Soft Gels.
Do you have a memorable story regarding a patient using ElleVet that you would like to share?
We had a 13-year-old golden that was able to be her normal self for a few more months of love after starting soft gel caps because of the support to her joints and cognitive function ElleVet provided.
